How Google Became A Client Of Ours...

You know, outside of the normal questions and perhaps...not so normal questions (I once had someone ask if we had round 20 X 20 tents), one of the most common is "How did Google become a client of yours".  The story is actually pretty simple.  They "Googled" us.  The young lady initially did not say where she was calling from.  She gave her name, phone number and email.  Her email was  My initial internal response was, wow that must predate Gmail.  Then I had the though...I she possible calling from Google Canada?  After doing a quick search myself, to my surprise, she did work at Google!!  I guess my excitement really came through the phone because when they picked up their rental items, she left me a Google t-shirt lol.

Although Facebook (, Twitter ( all the other social media is great for interacting with people...heck we almost have 3000 people following on Twitter alone but we still have most find us through a traditional Google search.

It is incredible where people call from after doing a Google search.  Canada, The United States, England, Russia, the list goes on and on.  All people hosting an event in the Nation's Capital.   People coming here for their wedding, conferences, conventions and trade shows.  You never know from day to day who is going to be calling and for what exactly.

While we have only been in business for three short years, we have been so incredibly fortunate.  The 2012 NHL All-Star Game, Starbucks, the 2012 Juno Awards, The IIHF Women's World Hockey Championship, Ottawa ComicCon, Minto, US Homeland Security, NORAD and literally countless others (you can view the partial list by clicking here) have all trusted us with their important events.

Perhaps it is the fact that most of us are "small town" people.  We try and have the same philosophy as our city.  Small town feel with big city amenities.  We try and give the very best service possible.  The more you take care of your customers, the more they take care of you.  So to this, in closing, I just want to say thank you to all of our clients, those who have simply called in with questions, our friends and families who have tolerated crazy work hours (20 hour days), suppliers and everyone else in between.   Your unwavering love and support has been unbelievable and we truly owe our success to you.
